οἱ δ’ ὅμοιοι καὶ ἀδιάφοροι ἄπειροι, ὥστ’ οὐθὲν μᾶλλον ἥδε ἡ τριὰσ αὐτοάνθρωποσ ἢ ὁποιαοῦν, εἰ δὲ μὴ εἰσὶν ἀριθμοὶ αἱ ἰδέαι, οὐδ’ ὅλωσ οἱο͂́ν τε αὐτὰσ εἶναι ἐκ τίνων γὰρ ἔσονται ἀρχῶν αἱ ἰδέαι; ὁ γὰρ ἀριθμόσ ἐστιν ἐκ τοῦ ἑνὸσ καὶ τῆσ δυάδοσ τῆσ ἀορίστου, καὶ αἱ ἀρχαὶ καὶ τὰ στοιχεῖα λέγονται τοῦ ἀριθμοῦ εἶναι, τάξαι τε οὔτε προτέρασ ἐνδέχεται τῶν ἀριθμῶν αὐτὰσ οὔθ’ ὑστέρασ·
